Tenth Revised Edition of this guide published by the state’s Bureau of Immigration. The guide contains general information on the state, as well as county by county information on available lands and the means by which one can obtain them. The folding map is entitled “Post Route Map of the Territory of New Mexico Showing Post Offices with the Intermediate Distances on Mail Routes in Operation on the 1st of June, 1909.” The verso has a graph of precipitation in the state during 1908 and a brief article about “Farming Without Irrigation in New Mexico,” as well as another article on “Laws and Regulations Under the 320-Acre Homestead Law; Applying in New Mexico.” We locate three copies of this particular edition in OCLC, at Yale, the Denver Public Library, and the Museum of New Mexico.
