Scarce illustrated pamphlet promoting life in Santa Rosa, California during the 1920s. In addition to touting Santa Rosa as the home of Luther Burbank, the renowned botanist and agricultural scientist, the work espouses the many business opportunities, particularly in farming, and recreational amenities of the town, complete with fulsome statistics and a small map of the region. The promotional is also well-illustrated throughout with photographic reproductions of views of the town, various types of agriculture undertaken in the area, and depictions of visitors at leisure. Burbank died the same year that this pamphlet was published under the auspices of the town Chamber of Commerce at the press of the local newspaper, the Press Democrat. OCLC locates three copies, at San Francisco Public, the Sonoma County Library, and UC Davis.
