Handsome Native rights poster produced by the newspaper Akwesasne Notes, a publication of the Mohawk Nation. The paper reproduced several of its centerfold pieces as separate posters in the 1970s. The present work depicts a young indigenous man near a totem pole, taken from an Edward Curtis photo; it is accompanied by a famous quote from Sitting Bull.
