Handsome Native rights poster produced by the newspaper Akwesasne Notes, a publication of the Mohawk Nation. The paper reproduced several of its centerfold pieces as separate posters in the 1970s. The work pairs a photographic image of an older woman with a quote by Buffy Ste. Marie. The caption notes, "Our grandmother shown here is Betty Hunter, of the Stoney Nation of Southern Alberta, taken about 1900."
