Seconde edition entierement refondue. Substantial medical compendium classifying all orders of hallucinations including those "compatible with reason," along with sleepwalking, mania, delirium tremens, nightmares and dreams, ecstasy, etc. Though issued by a Parisian publishing house, this copy bears the binding ticket from a local job binder, "Blank Book Manufacturer" John McKee, in antebellum New Orleans. An unusual example of the genre, doubly interesting for being on a French print job.
