A pair of melodramatic lectures in which a Polish exile, Louis Kazinski, supports the Turkish side in the Crimean War and defends their trade of enslaved women from the Caucasus. He was later arrested for but acquitted of attempting to recruit Americans for Britain in Crimea. The folding map shows Russian and Turkish positions in the Balkans.
