An attractively printed "state of the state" address, given by the governor of Jalisco before the state congress in February 1852, with many details concerning ongoings in the state during the early 1850s. In addition to the interesting, architectural frame surrounding the text of the title page, each page of text is enclosed by an identical, ornamental frame, meaning that the 1850s Guadalajara printer responsible for this publication had eight copies of the same border. OCLC lists four copies, at NYPL, Wisconsin, Berkeley, and the BNM.
