A scarce pamphlet on potential changes to the laws governing the treasury department in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The first section of the text comprises an address to the state congress setting forth the reasons for making additions to the law and fifteen preliminary propositions for the changes. The second portion prints the text of the additional law in its forty-six articles. Of surmounting interest are three well-printed folding charts at the rear, which provide statistics on the state of the treasury, the general budget of the state for 1828, and additional tax-related figures.
