An interesting, contemporary tract concerning the fall off in agricultural, industrial, and mineral production in New Spain during the War for Independence. The author, José Maria Quiros, was a bureaucrat at the Spanish colonial consulate in Veracruz, and is therefore particularly attentive to shipping and exports. A folding chart at the rear prints annual production numbers for products and materials in each of the three categories. A handful of copies in OCLC.
