The recipes here are sorted by subject -- consomes, pescados, carnes, reposteria, etc. -- with an index at the end, also sorted by types of foods. The verso of the introduction is adorned with a handsome wood cut of an opulent meal at table. Fairly rare -- we locate two copies in OCLC, at the University of Texas at San Antonio and the University of Florida.
