It includes a full range of fare, from coffee and puddings to fish and oysters, soups, jellies, pickles, and more. The contributor is indicated with each recipe, and the work includes a directory for local businesses. Additional sections for Household Hints, Dishes for the Sick, and Quantities Required for Suppers are also included.
