An unusual Iowa promotional, which charts the growth of the state over the 19th century through statistics and tables of its agricultural production. It also charts the growth of mining and manufacturing, shows the growing value of freight carried by railroads in the state, and delineates the amounts spent on public institutions such as education. A small map of the state is printed across two panel which shows the Iowa railroad routes and Congressional districts. OCLC locates eight copies.
