French-language edition of this extensive transcript of debates held in the Canadian House of Commons concerning the construction of the Trans Canadian Railroad. Speakers include Sir Charles Tupper, Minister of Railroads and Canals, and H.L. Langevin, the Minister of Public Works. The plan for the railroad was eventually approved, and construction of the line from Montreal to Vancouver began the next year.
