A collection of eight musings, primarily written in verse, much of it with a slightly religious angle. Pea Ridge is located in the far northwestern corner of Arkansas near the border with Missouri. The final piece is an account of the Battle of Pear Ridge, fought in March of 1862. A rare little volume. We locate two copies in OCLC, at the Boston Public Library and the University of Arkansas.
