An apparently unrecorded treatise on the cultivation of silk worms written by Professor J.M. Perez Campos of Mexico. Beginning with the basics of silkworms and mulberries, the work continues into the particulars of tools and facilities needed to farm the silkworm, as well as its diseases and other specifics. Despite the number of works noted as being by the same author on the wrappers of this volume, we find only one other citation for Perez Campos, an 1886 treatise on Spanish grammar. We also find only one other title bearing this imprint, a 1902 work on photography for the layperson. A crude and charming production, as interesting for its unusual printing history as for its subject matter.
