Another joint effort with Tschanz Rare Books and Johnson Rare Books & Archives, this catalogue takes the place of our RBMS trip, journeying geographically from Los Angeles to Indiana. McBRB highlights include a Nevada railroad freight log book, several pieces related to rail travel across the plains, a rare map of the Alton & Terre Haute Railway, and a manuscript volume of an Indiana railroad union.  Enjoy!

Our second collaboration with Tschanz Rare Books and Johnson Rare Books & Archives.  McBRB highlights include a handsome photo album depicting life at the Grand Canyon Lime & Cement Co. mines in Arizona; a rare lithograph of the largest mass execution in U.S. history (of Native Americans, of course); a rare Colorado soil conservation pamphlet from the 1930s; and a wax museum broadside advertisement from San Francisco.  Enjoy!

A cooperative catalogue in partnership with Langdon Manor Books, LLC for another fair which was canceled due to COVID-19.  It is chock full of exciting material -- McBRB highlights include a 1902 map of Harris County (where Houston is located), an archive of a guard at a Texas POW camp in its original suitcase, several Mexican bracero narratives, a large Oklahoma railroad map, and much more.  Enjoy!

Western Roundup: A Collective Catalogue

A joint effort with Johnson Rare Books & Archives and Tschanz Rare Books.  Sadly, due to COVID-19, the Western Archivists' Meeting -- and the accompanying book fair -- was canceled.   We have, therefore, banded together with our colleagues to offer a selection of ten items from each firm which would have appeared with us at the conference.  McBRB highlights include the archive of a Western mining family, an archive of Czech immigrants in L.A. in the 1960s, the diaries of a California farmer during the Civil War, and more.  Enjoy!
