An offering of twenty city directories ranging from Alaska to Kansas to Illinois.  Directories are packed with so much information -- histories, civic information, the names and occupations of citizens and business owners, ads for local enterprises.  We love directories.  Primarily comprised of directories for Western states, the list also includes an early directory for Cincinnati with a segregated African-American listing, and a rare and unusual Illinois directory for the "Twin Cities" of Rock Island and Davenport, Iowa.  Enjoy!
