Houston: Printed at the Job Office of E.H. Cushing & Co., 1864. 10pp. Original printed wrappers. Item #62
This scarce Confederate Texas pamphlet laments the lack of new Knights Templar Encampments and general lack of participation in Texas owing to the Civil War. There was also not, "Any new business pertaining to our order. This is caused from the fact that so many of our Sir Knights have buckled on the sword, and are now in the Confederate ranks, battling for the cause of truth, justice, right and liberty." The 1861 constitution of the Knights is printed at the rear. A rare Texas Confederate imprint, not appearing in any auction records.
