An apparently unrecorded work that prints the program for the 1899 annual meeting of the Baptist Young People's Union of Texas. About half of the work is also comprised of sheet music for Christian songs that were likely part of the two-day event, as well. Also includes short histories of the Baptist Young People's Union of America and Texas, plus information on "Christian Cultural Courses" and with advertisements for other religious activities and events, as well as an advertisement on the rear wrapper for the Texas and Pacific Railway. The pamphlet was issued by the State Executive Committee of the Baptist Young People's Union, headquartered in Dallas. The cover title of the work reads: "Souvenir, Program and Song Book Baptist Young People's Union of Texas. April 12th and 13th, Waco. Ninth Annual Convention." As far as we can tell from OCLC, this particular year's souvenir program is not held by any institution.
