[Spokane: 1960]. 16pp. of mimeographed text printed on light green card stock. Original light brown wrappers decoratively printed in light blue and maroon, string tied through a single hole punched at the top left, presumably for hanging on a nail near a phone. Some staining, ink and pencil notations, and doodlings on covers, spine worn. Light staining to first text leaf, otherwise clean internally. Good plus. Item #3930

A seemingly-unrecorded Washington State telephone directory listing the Japanese-American residents and businesses of Spokane. The residents and businesses are arranged alphabetically beginning with Kazue Akiyama and ending with H.K. Zumoto, and includes each person or business's address and phone number. Some of the businesses include the Clem Hotel, Columbia Pharmacy, Four Star Motor, and numerous others. In addition, some of these businesses, such as the Esmerelda Pharmacy, Harry Honda Insurance, House of Chan Chinese Foods, and the Spokane Buddhist Church have taken out advertisements along the bottom edge of the text throughout. The text ends with a list of sponsors of the directory, which includes many of the advertisers. No copies located in OCLC.
