[Livermore, Ca. 1970s]. Nine leaves, illustrated with 104 color photographs. Quarto. Contemporary self-stick photograph album spiral-bound in brown snakeskin patterned paper-covered boards with central design on front cover. Minor wear to covers. Images largely in vibrant condition. Very good. Item #3445

An eclectic collection of photographs featuring an unknown African American family and their friends in the 1970s. The men and women are captured here in striking '70s clothing and with most women sporting elegant afro-style haircuts. The subjects are pictured at a wedding, riding motorcycles, hanging out with friends both indoors and outside, on horseback, and more. One image of the sign for Springtown Public Golf Course in Livermore, California, plus the general appearance of most of the backgrounds in the photographs indicate the family lived in the American West.
