Scarce, late 19th-century anti-Protestant catechism, issued with the permission of the Mexican Catholic Church. The text comprises eight question-and-answer lessons concerning the evils of Protestantism, its history, and its many obvious fallacies. The book was published during a period of growing religious freedom in Mexico, in which the traditional Catholic authority sought aggressively to dissuade the populace from the temptations of other Christian denominations that were establishing roots in the country at this time. OCLC locates only one copy, at the University of Texas.
