Scarce and detailed Mexican military manual on the use of terrain for maneuvers and during combat. The author was a colonel in the Mexican Army Corps of Engineers, and the work stems from attempts to improve the training and preparedness of the Mexican armed forces in the years following the overthrow of Maximilian. OCLC locates three copies, at NYPL, Sutro Library, and the BNM.
