A simple map delineating the claims that made up the Belle of Tonopah Extension mine. The Tonopah Mining Company, which owned these claims was formed after the discovery of gold and silver near the town of Tonopah at the turn of the 20th century. Several news articles we located discuss the initial work on and returns from the extension around 1920.
