Minot, N.D. 1930. 96,pp. Quarter cloth and stiff card covers, stapled. Spine ends fraying, a couple of small chips and creases to covers. Contemporary gift inscription to title page, otherwise internally clean. Good plus. Item #1887
An interesting assortment of recipes collected by the ladies of Presbyterian Progressive Club of Minot, North Dakota. Recipes are attributed to the individual contributors and divided into categories, but trend toward pies, cakes, and other desserts. The final page before the index contains a striking list of "supplies for 100 people," which includes thirty pounds of wieners, four gallons of oysters, and many other staggering quantities of food. With numerous advertisements for local businesses and blank spaces for manuscript recipe additions. Scarce, OCLC locates only two copies.
