"Segunda edicion" of this scarce and extensive cook book, first published in 1905. The current edition has been revised, corrected, and updated with more than 300 additional recipes. The verso of the introduction is adorned with a handsome wood cut of an opulent meal at table. The volume is filled with a wide variety of recipes for papas, tortillas, huevos, lenguas, sopas, lomos, salsas, pastels, and more. Presumably a popular manual for family dining, the first edition is very scarce with only two copies listed in OCLC; of this edition we locate fewer than ten copies.
