Scarce Mexican work, published in Cuernavaca, on the Chicano Teatro Campesino of Delano, California, which produced works aggressively dedicated to Latin American social, economic, and political justice, "contra el imperialismo yanqui" in the 1960s and 1970s. The group was founded as the cultural wing of the United Farm Workers, and continues to put on shows today. Included here are a brief history of the theater during the 1960s and early 1970s, an interview with founders, Luis and Daniel Valdez, and two short plays , Las Dos Caras del Patroncito and Los Vendidos. With photographic illustrations; from an edition of 500 copies. We locate fewer than a dozen institutional copies.
