A scarce promotional for agriculture in Central Idaho and Southeaster Washington, "Written for the Lewiston, Idaho, Commercial Club, by Oliver M. Osborne, B.S.A., University of Wisconsin, Head of Agricultural Department, State Normal School, Lewiston, Idaho." The pamphlet discusses the excellent prospects for farming in Latah, Clearwater, Idaho, Lewis, and Nez Perce Counties in Idaho, as well as in Asotin and Whitman Counties in Washington. In a separate section for each county, the author discusses the terrain, soil, and types of crops that flourish across the region. The resources for timbering and stock raising are also outlined, as well as available modes of transportation across water, road, and rail. A small map of the area under discussion is printed on the rear wrapper. Not in OCLC, though we locate one copy of a similarly titled work, "Agriculture and Livestock in the Lewiston Country," also published by the Lewiston Commercial, at the University of Idaho.
