Broadside advertising an auction of personal property near Elida, New Mexico, a small town on the eastern edge of the state, about sixty miles northeast of Roswell. Taking place at the farm of H.A. Covington on Tuesday, September 25th, the sale features a variety of livestock including "23 head of cattle -- 19 head of horses", all of which are enumerated as to age and type. Also household and kitchen furniture, a wagon, and a buggy. Lunch is provided, cash terms only. The broadside was printed at the local newspaper, the Elida Enterprise, which ran from 1916 to 1924; a newspaper was published in Elida until 1946. An ephemeral piece from an obscure New Mexican town.
